UT Travel Medicine Moves
to UT Health Center
UT Travel
Medicine has moved from The Texas Medical Center to UT
Physicians' Galleria-area multi-specialty clinic, the UT
West Loop Health Center, at 1776 Yorktown, suite 150. UT
Travel Medicine's move was prompted by increasing demand
for travel medicine services and the need for a more convenient
location for business and vacation travelers.
"UT
Travel Medicine is set up to handle the subtleties of a
traveler's particular health needs and itinerary," says
travel medicine specialist Charles Ericsson, M.D., professor
of internal medicine and head of the Division of Clinical
Infectious Disease at The University of Texas Medical School
at Houston (pictured left). "UT Travel Medicine is uniquely
able to customize the medical protection of patients traveling
abroad to fit their current health profile."
Located half a mile west of The Galleria, the UT West Loop
Health Center offers both primary and specialty care services.
In addition to travel medicine, the UT Health Center
has physician specialists in bariatric medicine, dermatology,
endocrinology, plastic surgery, and general surgery. The
center's primary care physicians specialize in family practice,
geriatric medicine, internal medicine, and obstetrics and
gynecology.
For more information about UT Travel Medicine
and the center's other services, call the UT West Loop
Health Center at 713-572-8122.
