UT Pediatric Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is the clinic where physician faculty members of The University of Texas Medical School at Houston’s Division of Plastic Surgery provide patient care.

  Representing the best in their fields, UT plastic and reconstructive surgeons bring special expertise to patients needing surgery to improve the appearance and/or function of abnormal structures of  the body caused by birth defects, developmental abnormalities, trauma, infection, tumors and disease.

Examples include cleft lip and palate reconstruction, reconstructive microsurgery, extremity salvage and reconstruction, hand surgery, reconstruction of syndromic craniofacial anomalies such as Apert, Crouzon, hemifacial microsomia and Treacher-Collins, treatment of non-syndromic craniosynostosis (premature skull fusion), plagiocephaly (abnormal head shape), ear and nasal deformities and pigmented and vascular birthmarks.
