About UT Geriatric and Palliative Care
UT Geriatrics physicians specialize in managing patients with complicated medical diagnoses to help them maintain their health and quality of life as they age.
Our physicians are faculty members of The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. This unique affiliation allows our physician specialists to offer comprehensive care for older patients in an environment that thrives on collaboration between physicians of many different specialties.
UT Geriatrics and Palliative Care provides comprehensive primary medical care for older people. Additionally, our geriatricians are trained to diagnose and treat conditions that are common in this population, such as difficulties with memory, urinary tract disorders, worsening cardiovascular disease, decreasing physical function and fluctuations in mood.

- Help with linking seniors with local services
UT Geriatrics also offers second opinions. Our lab is on-site and imaging services can be conveniently scheduled at our facility nearby. We offer our patients continuity of care, with a house call program for those with increasing disability and impatient services for those requiring hospitalization.
